Youth Ministry

The Diocesan Youth Office is based in St Joseph’s Church, serving youth (P7-S6) and young adults (S6-30) across the Diocese. Fr Kevin Rennie is the Diocesan Youth Chaplain. The Youth Office runs monthly Young Adults evenings, normally on the first Sunday of every month, from 6.00 pm – 8.00 pm, and will soon be starting Youth evenings on the third Sunday of every month. These are open to youth and young adults from across the Diocese and provide an opportunity for them to meet and to share in friendship and Faith. The evenings start with Mass at 6PM. There is no charge for the evenings, you just need to come.

There are also national events which the Youth Ministry Office takes part in, running transport from across the Diocese to them and also international events such as World Youth Day.

They also organise and run Youth for Lourdes, taking young people from across the Diocese to Lourdes as part of the Diocesan Pilgrimage every two years. Recruitment for this takes place the September prior to the pilgrimage through Diocesan secondary schools and Parishes and is open to all young people from S4 to age 23.
