Hospital Chaplaincy

We have pastoral care of Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmarnock and visit patients regularly. At present we are unable to access patient lists and so rely on parishes and families to let us know when someone is in hospital, once we are made aware of a person in need of Chaplaincy support we endeavour to visit with the Eucharist twice a week – Fr Stephen/ Fr Kevin visit on a Tuesday, and Sr Mabel/ Sr Juliet visit on a Friday.

Even if you are only going to be in Crosshouse for a short while, please let us know so that we can visit you when we are doing our routine visits. To request a chaplaincy visit, please contact:

Fr Stephen McGrattan

We also work closely with our colleagues in Ayr General Hospital. If you know of someone requiring Chaplaincy visits in Ayr please contact:

Fr Ben Mkeri
benjamin.mkeri@gallowaydiocese.org.uk

For any other hospitals in the area, please contact the local Parish Priest to arrange visiting.

IN AN EMERGENCY please ask ward staff to contact the on-call Chaplain who will attend as quickly as possible.
