The 2024 program of preparation for the Sacraments has now begun in St Joseph’s.
Rite of Christian Initiation of Children (RCIC)
We look forward to our young parishioners receiving the Sacraments of Confirmation (Sunday 9th February 2024) and First Eucharist (Corpus Christi – Sunday 22nd June 2025). They have now begun their preparations with their Enrolment Mass on Sunday 29th September as they received their textbooks and a candle to set up a prayer space at home. Fr Kevin reminded the children present of the importance of prayer in their lives as a conversation with Jesus who wants to know them and who loves them. Over the coming months through their schools, our parish, and at home they will continue their preparations as they grow in their knowledge and love of Christ as they prepare to receive the Sacraments.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
The RCIA program has now begun with the group meeting weekly in St Joseph’s Church on Thursday evenings from 6.30 – 7.30 pm. If you would be interested in joining the Church over the coming year please contact Fr Stephen or Fr Kevin by emailing kilmarnock.stjoseph@rcdg.org.uk to enquire.
